What We Do
We travel to various locations throughout California along with G Company 6th US Infantry men's group. We do living history presentations for the public. At most events you will find us in our fly (tent) doing period work of some sort. We are either sewing with period handcrank sewing machines, sewing by hand on one of our group quilts, crocheting, reading or just plain having fun visiting with each other. At other times, some of our ladies can be seen working as laundresses. Sometimes, we even set up a small sutlery. No matter what we are doing, we are always enjoying ourselves and sharing our love of Civil War history with the public. |
